He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Information Science and Technology, Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Thailand.
He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China, in 2024. He also holds M.Eng. in Robotics and Automation from the Institute of Field Robotics, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand, in 2019, and a B.Eng. in Electrical and Communication Engineering from Mahidol University, Thailand, in 2012.
During his Ph.D., he was a visiting student at the Robotics, Evolution and Art Lab, IT University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Before pursuing his master’s studies, he worked as a senior engineer at Advanced Info Services Plc. (AIS) from 2012 to 2017.
His areas of interest include machine (reinforcement) learning for robotics, legged robotics, bio-inspired robotics, bionic technology, information theory and high-level cognitive robotics with the aim of enhancing the intelligence of robots. His long-term goal is to bring the robot out of the lab into the real world and make it really work in the wild.
